Icelandair on January 9, 2018 announced seasonal service to the heartland of America with flights from Kansas City International Airport (MCI) commencing on May 25, 2018 from Keflavik.

Icelandair’s Kansas City service will offer three nonstop flights a week to Iceland on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, with easy connections to and from more than 25 destinations in Europe.

Icelandair has been in operation since 1937, and celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2017.
