The pictured Boeing 737-86N I-NEOS (msn 32733) has now returned to Neos from a recent lease to Samoa Airways.
Neos needed the aircraft back due to the missed and delayed Boeing 737 MAX deliveries. The grounding of the MAX forced Neos to change plans and to maintain in service the pictured I-NEOS due to the contracts already signed with tour operators in Italy for the busy summer season.
Neos is also leasing two additional Boeing 737-800s on short term leases to cover the shortage.
The pictured I-NEOS is being operated in this mostly ex-Samoa Airways livery.
