Miami Air International files for Chapter 11 reorganization

Miami Air International filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy and reorganization on March 24. The chapter 11 filing was filed in Florida Southern Bankruptcy Court.

Miami Air International is wholly owned by TSI Holdings.

The charter airline, which commenced operations on October 15, 1991, currently was operating six Boeing 737-800s.

However it was hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic which stopped all sporting events and team charters.
