NextJet was the largest regional airline in Sweden. The carrier filed for bankruptcy on May 16, 2018 and halted all operations.
The airline issued this statement:
As from Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 13:00, the Nextjet has cancelled all flights and will apply for bankruptcy. We regret the situation. Pending the appointment of a receiver and may make decisions on the future of the company, customers who have booked a journey with nextjet are referred to their travel agency or travel agency. Our customer service will be closed until further notice.
